Varsity Trip to Fort

Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (II Tim. 2:13)

Fulton has a tremendous youth outreach through our Awana Clubs.  It is an opportunity for many of us to be one of God’s tools in reaching unsaved boys and girls and their families.

Bring your child to one of our meeting nights.  Fulton Awana meets on Sunday evenings during the school year at Fulton Church (just off Hwy. H).

3 - 5 p.m. - Varsity

5 - 7 p.m. - Cubbies, Sparks, Boys & Girls Club (Truth & Training), and  J.V.

If you have any questions regarding the Awana program, you can call Fulton Church at 884-8512 or Annette Mathews at 873-0946.

You can also check out the Awana website at www.awana.org.

How Can You Help Fulton Awana?

We are blessed to have many adults working in Awana as leaders.  You may be helping out already or you might be wondering how you can help out in other ways.  The following are items and jobs that are needed throughout the Awana year:

·     donations of candy (snack sized, penny candy like tootsie rolls and regular sized Snicker bars);

·      donations of frozen pizza.  One club could easily finish off 6-8 pizzas in one pizza night.  These could have 1-2 toppings. Nothing fancy;

·      donations of 2 liter bottles of pop (any flavors including diet).  J.V. and Varsity go through several bottles of pop every club night;

·      prepare the snack time for Varsity (i.e. taco night, nachos or anything that you could suggest);

·      financial donations (you may specify the club or give to the general fund);

·      club photographer and journalist.  We would like to regularly have articles in the Edgerton Reporter about events in Awana such as the Awana Grand Prix, Olympics, etc.

If you feel that you can help out in one of these areas, please contact Annette Mathews, Fulton Awana Commander, at 873-0946.
